Our bikes are designed to help make city life a little simpler and a little more fun. They're designed with all kinds of people in mind:
The everyday bicyclist who regularly rides to work and around town.
The person who doesn't identify themselves as bicyclist, but wants a simple, sturdy bicycle for errands, trip to the Farmers Market, or weekend rides in the park.
The newbie who is buying an adult bike for the first time who wants to recapture the joy they felt while riding as a child.
But most importantly, we design our bikes for ourselves. All of us at PUBLIC are enthusiasts about bicycles for everyday people, and so our high design standard is very simple - we would never produce a bicycles that we wouldn't ride ourselves or recommend to out friends.

Who We Are
PUBLIC is a Bay Area based bicycle and gear company. We design and sell urban bikes, along with accessories to make riding more enjoyable, practical, and chic. Our real mission is simply to make our communities more enjoyable.
Our Wholesale Program
PUBLIC is an ATS-only (available to sell) brand. We will not create nor promise geographic territories for any dealer. Doing so induces preseason program commitments. We will curate our Partner list to have a symbiotic group of like-minded partners in a given market. We ask stocking parters to commit to $1,000 minimum one time bike inventory purchase (3-4 bikes).
Wholesale Payment Terms
All orders must be paid for with a credit card at checkout.
Wholesale Shipping
Our warehouse ships most wholesale orders within 1-2 business days. Shipping costs are added to your order at checkout (free for orders over $1000+). Using UPS ground shipping, it takes 2-3 days to receive a bike along the West Coast, 3-4 days to the Midwest, and 5-6 days to the East Coast. For international shipments, you will be billed separately for import fees and duties by your country's UPS branch.
Wholesale Returns
We do not accept returns. Please let us know as soon as possible if a style isn't selling for you and we can discuss a markdown.
Wholesale Sale Cadence
We are a full-price brand. We have an annual Black Friday sale and will markdown models with broken size-runs or discontinued colors. We're committed to price-matching any product sold at a discount so you can maintain full margin.
Wholesale Photography & Marketing
PUBLIC also has an enormous amount of creative assets (photos & videos) available to help build your business as a destination for the new consumers. Our digital marketing team can combine your customer email list with ours to target consumers who have shown interest in our products.
